Waiting for God

David Stroud 12th July 2026

Genesis 18:1-15: One of the hardest parts of being a disciple is learning to wait for God; when we are waiting for him to fulfil a longing of our hearts, an answered prayer or something we believe he has promised us. David draws from the life of Abraham to consider how we can do this and keep our hearts healthy and positive, even when the waiting period lasts many years.

Mission is one of our three core values as a church, and we want to encourage people to see that mission isn’t something we start – it’s something we step into. God is already at work around us in daily life, and we’re invited to partner with him.
