Pastoral support

One of the most important things about church is being part of a community that supports and encourages each other through all seasons of life.

Often, this happens through friendships and community groups, but sometimes each of us can experience a particularly troubling or difficult period in our lives, where we might seek additional help.

We have pastoral support teams across all five of our services, each led by an experienced pastoral team leader and overseen by Louisa Richards, and our ministry leader, Lars Due-Christensen. Individuals from these teams are available for one to one support for those needing specific support in an area of their lives.

We also run a number of courses and online resources which may help those dealing with a particular issue. Take a look at the bottom of this page to see what’s on.

Our Pastoral Support team are available to talk and pray with you over the phone if you are struggling with self-isolation, illness, or anything else. If you would like to talk to someone, please email pastoralsupport@christchurchlondon.org where your query will be dealt with in confidence.

"As a church we have seen many lives being transformed through the work of the Holy Spirit in an effective pastoral care setting. We have seen people set free from life controlling habits and thought patterns and we would love to help more people find freedom."
