STEPS on Screen

Got a couple of hours free on Saturday 24th March? Read on to find out how you can make the most of them.

Many of you will have heard about the STEPS course, which is a 12-week course designed to help people find freedom from unhelpful patterns of thought or behaviour. STEPS was created by our very own Lars, who oversees our ministry leaders here at CCL, and Mette Due-Christensen. It has been a great success in their native Denmark, and since bringing it to Christ Church London, over 200 people have undertaken the course and found it really helpful.

It’s been such a success that we thought, why limit it to just London?

We’ve decided to create a series of videos, which will enable us to run the course in different locations, from the big central events, to smaller courses in people’s houses. This will also allow us to roll out the STEPS course to other parts of the country, so that many other churches and individuals will be able to benefit from the material.

The videos will include a mixture of interviews and short talks, and Andy Tilsley will be filming all 12 of the talks in one day. And this is where you come in…

We are looking for an audience to join us for the filming session. It will be taking place on Saturday 24 March between 9.00 and 17.30. You wouldn’t have to be there for the whole day; we have 2 hour time slots that you can sign up for. And don’t worry if you don’t find all of Andy’s jokes funny – canned laughter and a good editor will work wonders!

This will be a great opportunity for you to get a taster of the STEPS course, and also play a part in helping this course reach many more people, in London and beyond. If you would like more information, or to sign up for the day, please contact polly@christchurchlondon.org.
