From an early age, we want to create disciples who make disciples and we recognise that leadership qualities are essential to this! We want to give our young people every opportunity to grow into leaders who will shape the future of our city. 

We are delighted to develop our first ever cohort of Youth Leaders at Christ Church London! Open to young people in Year 10+ from across the services. The Youth Leadership Academy is a leadership journey, designed to raise up a generation of young people who live in God’s presence, are formed into the character of Christ, and are sent out to lead with purpose and boldness. It’s not just a programme — it’s a way of life.

We are looking for young people who are interested in growing in their leadership skills, are dedicated to growing in their faith, and have a heart for their church, their community, and selflessly serving those around them.

Structure

• Service: Leading in kids, worship, production, welcome. There are regular opportunities to lead worship, preach and pray at our Praise Parties for the younger kids.
• Mentorship: Paired with an older leader or youth worker.
• YLA Meetings: YLA members are invited to attend a monthly meeting for individualised leadership training, mentoring, and faith formation, with the chance to hear from mature Christians in a variety of career fields on how they seek spiritual renewal in their workplace. 
• Leadership conferences: We sponsor our young people to attend the best leadership conferences on offer.
