This week, Barry invites us to deeply consider the emotional journey of Jesus during his final week in Jerusalem, particularly his entry on Palm Sunday. We explore what stepping into ‘Jesus’s shoes’ reveals about his wide range of emotions, from frustration and anger to joy and compassion, and the weight of responsibility he carried. We’re invited to reflect on seemingly mundane tasks God might ask us to do, and our own feelings of being burdened or insignificant. Ultimately, we contemplate on Jesus’s enduring love and sacrifice, prompting us to ask, ‘Do I understand what Jesus has done for me?’
