I Don’t Condemn You

How can we move from condemnation to forgiveness?

In Luke chapter 7, we read of Jesus' encounter with a woman caught in adultery. While the Pharisees shamed her, Jesus' response to her sin was revolutionary - he offered her forgiveness. In this talk Joel invites us to appreciate the true gift and wonder of forgiveness, and the promise that "there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus".

John 4:1-42: Over the coming months, we’re going to go through the gospel of John, taking a look at the major themes and teachings of this unique biography, starting with ‘Encounters with Jesus’. All of us have questions and deep longings for things like meaning, fulfilment, and acceptance. In this series, we’ll look at the stories of the people who had the same longings as we do, and who found answers through encountering Jesus and receiving ‘life in his name’ (John 20:31).
