John 7:53 – 8:11: Over the coming months, we’re going to go through the gospel of John, taking a look at the major themes and teachings of this unique biography, starting with ‘Encounters with Jesus’. All of us have questions and deep longings for things like meaning, fulfilment, and acceptance. In this series, we’ll look at the stories of the people who had the same longings as we do, and who found answers through encountering Jesus and receiving ‘life in his name’ (John 20:31).
