Covid-19 (Coronavirus) guidance
In response to the latest advice from the Government about tackling the Covid-19 virus, we’ve made the decision to cancel our Sunday services for the foreseeable future.
Whilst for many of us the risk of serious illness is small, we believe this is the most loving and responsible action we can take to ensure we’re protecting the most vulnerable amongst us.
Instead of meeting in our normal settings, we will be moving our Sunday Services online for you to watch with friends and family at home at christchurchlondon.online.church. The services will be taking place each Sunday at 10am, 11pm, 5pm, 7pm and 8pm, and will include worship, news and updates, prayer and a sermon. We’ll also provide some suggested activities and resources for kids and families, to help you enjoy worshipping too.
No doubt this will take us all a little while to get used to, and we’ll be sending out more information and resources in the coming days and weeks, as we adjust to this new normal. But we hope this will help you to keep connecting with others, and with God.
Christ Church London will we continue to closely monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and, following advice from Public Health England, we will take appropriate steps to ensure we keep our church congregations, staff team, and volunteers as safe as possible.
We will be reviewing all our upcoming events as the situation progresses, and we are already planning to move our Alpha and Steps courses online. We will keep you up to date via email and our Social Media channels.
We will update this page with information about changes to our services or practices. To stay most up to date, please subscribe to our mailing list, as we will send further information to the whole church via email.
General precautions now in place
These are some of the steps we are now taking to help prevent the spread of infection:
We are closely monitoring updates from Public Health England in relation to our services and events.
We have advised Connect Group leaders on the appropriate action to take in regard to meeting. We would encourage you to speak to your Connect Group leader about how they will continue to meet. If you are not yet part of a group, now is a perfect time to join one, so that we can keep you connected, and look out for one another. Find out about groups associated to your service here or email firstname.lastname@example.org
