11.00 – Central Service

11.00 – Central Service

ChristChurch London’s Central Service meets every Sunday at 11.00 at The Mermaid Theatre, EC4V 3DB and everybody is welcome.

This is a great central venue, which is easily accessible from all across London. Our hope is that from here we can serve various parts of our city, including those who live and work in Zone 1, as well as being a base to start other services in due course.

Our services consist of around 30 minutes of worship, including music, prayer and reflection, followed by announcements about upcoming events and a talk from the Bible, which will be relevant and accessible to all.

We love families and we run activities for children aged 0-18 during our services, and also provide a room where parents can feed young children.

Refreshments are served before and after each service, and we also run regular welcome events where you can get to know others, meet some of the leaders and find your place at ChristChurch London.

Travel Information

We meet each Sunday at 11.00 at the Mermaid Theatre, EC4V 3DB. The venue is a short walk from Blackfriars, Temple, St Pauls and Mansion House underground stations. If you’re arriving at Blackfriars, turn right as you exit the station and follow the road around until you see The Mermaid Theatre in front of you.

There is plenty of free on-street parking in nearby roads, and the Baynard House carpark on Great Victoria Street, EC4V 4BQ offers all day parking for £2.50.

From time to time travel in London is affected by engineering works or events taking place in the city. Check updates and plan your journey with the Transport for London journey planner.

Accessibility

Disabled access to the Mermaid Theatre is via a ramp at the front of the building. Members of the Welcome Team will be on hand to help you with the doors and there is a ramp into the auditorium where there are designated spaces for wheelchair users at the front.

Accessible toilets are available on the ground floor, and there is lift access to the Mezzanine Bar and other auxiliary rooms.

If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please speak to a member of the Mermaid staff, or our Welcome Team, who will be happy to help.
