Theology Matters: New Creation

Sat Feb 24, 10.00–16.00

Many Christians assume that the point of the gospel is that we get to spend eternity in heaven when we die. But is that really what the Bible teaches?

In these interactive seminars, Liam Thatcher will look at what the Bible says about heaven, new creation, and life after death. We will consider:

– Does God really plan to destroy the Earth and take us somewhere else for all eternity?
– How does Jesus’ resurrection help us think about our own future?
– Where is heaven, and do we get to go there?
– What should we do with some of the strange passages that seem to describe the end of the world?
