Have you ever wondered what it's like working for a church?

Any good organisation needs a strong team of dedicated workers, and ChristChurch London is no exception. We recruit people into a variety of different teams, including administration, finance, ministry roles, media and technology. We are a diverse team with varied backgrounds, but united by the same goal: to make a difference in the heart of the nation.

If you would like to explore working for us, we would love to hear from you. Louisa Richards looks after our recruitment, so send her your CV, explaining what you’re looking for and she’ll get in touch. We would ask that everyone who applies be in agreement with our ethos statement, available to view on request.

Volunteers

From time to time we need additional help from people in ChristChurch, especially those of you with particular technical skills. So if you are keen to help out for a day, week or month here and there, we would love to hear from you.

Volunteering in the ChristChurch London offices is a great opportunity to serve the church, develop practical skills that will boost your CV and make a real difference to the people who need it the most. If you would like to volunteer, you’ll be asked to submit a CV and you may be asked to meet us for an informal chat so we can best match up your skills to what we have available. If we feel the volunteering opportunity is not right for you, we’ll let you know.

Frontier Project

Every year, we recruit a number of volunteers to take part in our Frontier Project. This is a nationwide project run by Newfrontiers and is an opportunity for volunteers to serve their local church, make life long friends and benefit from theological training.

If you choose to do FP at ChristChurch London then you will get involved in one of several ministry areas, including Alpha, Everything Matters, Media, Student Work and Families. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the area in which you’re working, and have an opportunity to gain key life skills such as organisation, time management and team work.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend theological training once a month where you are taught by some of Newfrontiers’ finest teachers. You will also be allocated a mentor, who will be there to offer you advice and a listening ear throughout your time with us.

If you choose to do FP at ChristChurch London, we will pay for all your theological training, your involvement with Newfrontiers conferences throughout the year and all work-related travel expenses. For more information about the training visit newfrontiersuk.org/training and to register interest, please get in touch with Louisa Richards on louisa@christchurchlondon.org.

Empowered: Hearing God's Voice - David Stroud

Sun May 20, 11.00 - 12.30 & 16.00 - 17.30

Does God communicate with people, and if so how can we hear Him? In this talk, David will look at ways in which God speaks today, and help us to learn how to hear Him better, discern what He is saying, and then be obedient to what He asks us to do.
