This City and this Church are filled with amazing women!

Psalm 92 promises, ‘those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish' (Psalm 92:13). To flourish can be defined as: to be fully alive, awake, in the prime of one's excellence and influence, to thrive and grow, to embellish surroundings.

As women, we want to live lives that flourish, rooted in the divine Love of God and a profound understanding that we are created to know Him as His daughters and His friends. We also want to bring hope, joy and freedom to this city. We want to be a mighty, tender, fun, creative, passionate, courageous band of women united by friendship and seeking to contribute to the flourishing of this city.

Once a month we meet for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This is a great place to meet new friends and see old ones over coffee and pastries, and enjoy the creativity of various women in church. Each month different women will share wisdom, stories and their experience. Sometimes there will be a speaker, sometimes a panel discussion, sometimes more time for prayer. Each month will be different. And to top it all off, you can then join us at church for the morning service.

Please join the Women's group on The City, where we'll be posting regularly. And if you're organising an event for women, post it up there too.

Transforming Ducketts Common

Sat Jul 26, 10.00 - 13.30

A group of people are partnering with local churches to help transform Ducketts Common into a safe and enjoyable space for families, by cultivating a wildflower meadow. If you would like to be involved, you are welcome to join us. Usually there is a variety of tasks to do, some of which involve gardening.

We meet at 10.00 to pray and then we work from 10.30 until 13.30. Wear clothes suitable for gardening. All tools are provided, no experience necessary.
