We believe that strong nations benefit from strong churches

The book of Acts puts a high value on planting new churches that care for one another, and affect their communities, meeting people’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs. They should preach the message of salvation for every part of man; forgiveness from sins, reconciliation to God, good news to the poor, freedom for the captives, comfort to those who mourn.

Because churches have such potential for making a difference, Newfrontiers is committed to planting new churches in every part of this nation. Currently there are around 230 Newfrontiers churches in the United Kingdom and on average they plant a new church each month. The Newfrontiers UK Team feels that God has encouraged them to expect that number to rise to 400 in the coming years. To that end, they seek to equip and train people to plant and lead effective churches, through mentoring, and the annual Base Camp event. For more information, visit newfrontiersplanting.org

Planting Churches, Changing Communities

David Stroud, who leads ChristChurch London, has written a must-read book about planting churches which make a difference in their local communities. It’s packed full of personal testimonies and leadership wisdom, and if you’re at all interested in building churches in this nation or abroad, we’d encourage you to take a look. You can purchase the book from Amazon.

Why did Jesus die?

Tue May 21, 19.15 - 21.15

This week will look at why Christians focus on the death of Jesus and consider it the most important event in human history, when human failings and the problem of sin were dealt with once and for all. There will be discussion after the talk as well as an opportunity to share your opinion.
