Each Sunday we take time out to gather together from our different parts of London, to worship, receive teaching and celebrate all that God has done. Everybody is welcome, and here is a little of what to expect from a Sunday at ChristChurch London.

The Meetings

We hold two meetings each Sunday, at 11.00 and 16.00, at the Mermaid Theatre, Blackfriars. Each meeting lasts 90 minutes and consists of around 35 minutes of sung worship, followed by announcements about what’s coming up in the life of the church, and a talk from the Bible, which we hope will be relevant and accessible to all.

Refreshments are served before and after each meeting, including fairtrade tea and coffee, juice and water and we would love for you to stay around. There is an information point in the upstairs bar, and our Welcome Team will be delighted to get to know you and answer any questions you may have about the church.

Families

We love families at ChristChurch London, and if you have children with you we want them to enjoy church too. Each Sunday we have activities available for children during the 11.00 meeting. Please speak to a member of the Welcome Team and have a look at our families page for more information on what’s going on for each age group.

Travel

The Mermaid Theatre is a short walk away from Blackfriars, Temple, St Pauls and Mansion House underground stations. If you are arriving at Blackfriars, turn right as you exit the station and follow the road around until you see The Mermaid Theatre.

From time to time travel in London is affected by engineering works or events taking place in the city. Check updates and plan your journey with the Transport for London journey planner.

There is also plenty of free onstreet parking in nearby roads, and the Baynard House carpark on Great Victoria Street offers all day parking for £2.50.

Welcome Lunches

If you’re new to ChristChurch, we’d love to treat you to lunch! We regularly host Welcome Lunches in between our two Sunday meetings and these are a great way for you to get to know people, meet some of the leaders, and find out more about ChristChurch London.

Details of when these lunches are taking place can be found in the calendar. For more information contact Holly Page, holly@christchurchlondon.org, or alternatively call the ChristChurch London Office on 0207 384 6486.

Join us for a Drink

For those attending the afternoon meeting, why not join us from 18.30 for a drink at All Bar One, 44 Ludgate Hill. Whether you've been at church for five minutes or five years, this is a great opportunity to get to know others. We'd love to see you there.

The Dreams of Youth (Genesis 37:1-11) - Liam Thatcher

Sun Sep 07, 11.00 - 12.30 & 16.00 - 17.30

Joseph was well-off, well-dressed and his Father’s clear favourite son. He had big dreams and a big mouth, and the combination got him into some serious trouble! In the first week of our new series, Liam looks at the beginning of Joseph’s story and considers how (not) to handle the dreams God gives us.

GriefShare

Sun Sep 07, 13.30 - 15.30

GriefShare is a 13-week course designed to support those who have been bereaved. The aim is to help those grieving to move through their grief in a healthy way.

In this confidential group, we look at many of the responses one can have when bereaved. You will have the opportunity to process your grief in a supportive, safe environment.

The course material helps you to work through the many complex and sometimes debilitating feelings that can arise when grieving.

We request that those interested commit to attending all 13 sessions if possible so that we can build a supportive and consistent environment for each another.

The course will run on Sundays from September 7 through to November 30 from 13.30 to 15.30. Find out more and register your interest
