Each Sunday we take time out to gather together from our different parts of London, to worship, receive teaching and celebrate all that God has done. Everybody is welcome, and here is a little of what to expect from a Sunday at ChristChurch London.

The Meetings

We hold two meetings each Sunday, at 11.00 and 16.00, at the Mermaid Theatre, Blackfriars. Each meeting lasts 90 minutes and consists of around 35 minutes of sung worship, followed by announcements about what’s coming up in the life of the church, and a talk from the Bible, which we hope will be relevant and accessible to all.

Refreshments are served before and after each meeting, including fairtrade tea and coffee, juice and water and we would love for you to stay around. There is an information point in the upstairs bar, and our Welcome Team will be delighted to get to know you and answer any questions you may have about the church.

We love families at ChristChurch London, and if you have children with you we want them to enjoy church too. Each Sunday we have activities available for children during the 11.00 meeting. Please speak to a member of the Welcome Team and have a look at our families page for more information on what’s going on for each age group.

The Mermaid Theatre is a short walk away from Blackfriars, Temple, St Pauls and Mansion House underground stations. If you are arriving at Blackfriars, turn right as you exit the station and follow the road around until you see The Mermaid Theatre.

From time to time travel in London is affected by engineering works or events taking place in the city. Check updates and plan your journey with the Transport for London journey planner.

There is also plenty of free onstreet parking in nearby roads, and the Baynard House carpark on Great Victoria Street offers all day parking for £2.50.

Welcome Lunches

If you’re new to ChristChurch, we’d love to treat you to lunch! We regularly host Welcome Lunches in between our two Sunday meetings and these are a great way for you to get to know people, meet some of the leaders, and find out more about ChristChurch London.

Details of when these lunches are taking place can be found in the calendar. For more information contact Holly Page,, or alternatively call the ChristChurch London Office on 0207 384 6486.

Join us for a Drink

For those attending the afternoon meeting, why not join us from 18.30 for a drink at All Bar One, 44 Ludgate Hill. Whether you've been at church for five minutes or five years, this is a great opportunity to get to know others. We'd love to see you there.

Philippians 4:10-23 - Andy Tuck

Sun Aug 31, 11.00 - 12.30 & 16.00 - 17.30

We live in a world where so many people seem discontented. Everyone longs for the next thing, and few feel they have as much as they would like. In the final talk of this series, Andy Tuck considers how, like Paul, we can discover the secret of contentment. What do we truly need to be happy? And how can we trust God to meet all of our needs?

Momentum - 22-26 August

Fri Aug 22, 10.00 - 23.55

We’re all going on a Summer Holiday!

Have you got around to planning your summer holidays yet? Whether you have or not, let me throw another option in the mix for you.

This summer we’re planning on going to Momentum. It’s a 5-day Christian festival in Bath, taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, specifically designed for students, twenties and thirties. It’s basically 5 days of teaching, worship, seminars and fun.

There’s loads of time and space to think about what it means to be living for Jesus in our universities and workplaces (and anywhere else we find ourselves). There are loads of seminars over the five days that cover everything from handling money to sex and relationships; working out God’s calling on your life, to dealing with stuff when it doesn't go how you'd planned. And there’s plenty of time to eat food, catch up, have fun, play games, do nothing, chill out etc etc…

If you’d like to come then book your place online. ChristChurch London’s Group Reference Number is M2K14-100001155. If you book before the end of April you can get your ticket for £100. Thereafter online bookings are £110. We’ll arrange food and travel plans closer to the time, once we know who’s coming.
