The Marriage Preparation Course is for anyone who is married, engaged, or thinking about getting married in the future.

Wish marriage and relationships came with an instruction manual? The Marriage Preparation Course is a fantastic environment to explore questions about marriage and married life. We run two courses a year, during the spring and autumn terms and each course is spread over five sessions. The next course starts in March 2014 and covers the following topics:

02 Mar: Communication
09 Mar: Commitment
16 Mar: Resolving Conflict
23 Mar: Keeping Love Alive
30 Mar: Shared Goals and Values

The course is open to couples at various stages of their relationship. Whether you are married already, engaged, or thinking of getting married, please feel free to join us.

It is hosted by Ross and Joy Bull and takes place on Sunday afternoons at the Mermaid Theatre. The course costs £30 per couple, and you will receive a book on marriage, a workbook each, cakes and drinks each week, and a follow up session with a couple from the church.

Visit the calendar to find out when our next course is taking place, and click here to register for the course.

Couples often ask if there are any books that will help them as they consider marriage, so click here to read a post by Ross and Joy, recommending a few books they have found to be helpful for strengthening marriages and relationships.

The Art of Neighbouring: Relationships that Matter (Luke 10:25-28) - David Stroud

Sun Apr 27, 11.00 - 12.30 & 16.00 - 17.30

An expert in the law came to Jesus and asked him what he had to do to get right with God. Jesus’ answer shows that God’s design for humanity has always been the same: we are designed to love God and love our neighbour. In the first week of our new series, David Stroud unpacks that important principle.
