Andy Tilsley

Andy moved down to London in March 2004, following a five-year stint with the BBC as a radio news and sports journalist. Andy now works full-time as an Elder at ChristChurch London and lives in Earlsfield with his wife Joy and young son Brody. Andy oversees the Welcome Team, Life Groups, Social Action and the Media and Communication department at ChristChurch London. He also regularly commentates on football matches for BBC London. Joy is a secondary school RE teacher and helps to lead and oversee Life Groups.

David Stroud

David has been involved in leading churches for over 20 years and ChristChurch London is the third church that he has started. He has a degree in theology from Durham University and is an alumni of IMD business school. London is his home and the city he loves most in this world. He lives here with his wife and children and he has a passion to develop churches that contribute to the renewal of their cities. He is the author of "Planting churches, changing communities" and has trained many leaders in the UK and around the world.

Ross Bull

Ross previously led a church in Harpenden, Hertfordshire before he and his wife Joy moved to London to be involved with planting ChristChurch London. Ross is an Elder and helps to oversee the church's finances. Together Ross and Joy also lead the termly Marriage Course and oversee our Families ministries, as well as our Mission and Nations ministry. In addition they have wider responsibilities for the Newfrontiers staff. Ross and Joy are originally from Scotland, and have three grown-up children.

Alpha Week 3: Why did Jesus die?

This week will look at why Christians focus on the death of Jesus and consider it the most important event in human history, when humans failings and the problem of sin were dealt with once and for all. There will be discussion after the talk as well to an opportunity to share your opinion.
