'The earth is the Lord's and everything in it' Psalm 24:1

It’s fair to say the likes of William Wilberforce and C.S. Lewis are heroic role models for us. In very different ways they left an indelible mark on their worlds and we are still living in the good of their hard work and courage today.

Whilst they were once-in-a-generation kind of people, we believe that as the church makes the most of the massive potential within it, our combined impact need be no less significant. Whether it be an end to gang violence, justice for the poor, transformation through the workplace or encouraging inventiveness, initiative and cultural creation: we’re here to make a tangible difference in London, the UK and the nations of the world.  And we want you to be a part of it.

Because every part of life matters, everyone has a part to play and can get involved. If your local community or social justice matters to you, check out our Communities page to find out what's happening across London and how to get stuck in.  And whether you're in education, law, media, government, finance, public services, science and technology, the third sector or elsewhere, our Transform groups are a place to meet with others who are passionate about their world.

We’re not expecting this to be easy or straightforward, but we want London to be better off because we’re here. And we’ll be all the poorer without you on board.

'20 years from now you’ll be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than the things that you did do. So throw off the bow-line, get out of the safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.' Mark Twain

GriefShare

Sun Sep 07, 13.30 - 15.30

GriefShare is a 13-week course designed to support those who have been bereaved. The aim is to help those grieving to move through their grief in a healthy way.

In this confidential group, we look at many of the responses one can have when bereaved. You will have the opportunity to process your grief in a supportive, safe environment.

The course material helps you to work through the many complex and sometimes debilitating feelings that can arise when grieving.

We request that those interested commit to attending all 13 sessions if possible so that we can build a supportive and consistent environment for each another.

The course will run on Sundays from September 7 through to November 30 from 13.30 to 15.30. Find out more and register your interest
