CALENDAR.

This week will look at why Christians focus on the death of Jesus and consider it the most important event in human history, when humans failings and the problem of sin were dealt with once and for all. There will be discussion after the talk as well to an opportunity to share your opinion.

On the 1st Saturday of each month we collect about a ton of food from the good customers of Sainsbury's, allowing the Vauxhall foodbank to keep feeding hungry people. What are the characteristics that God wants to develop in our lives, and how does the Holy Spirit help us to grow in these areas? This week Andy Tilsley will look at Paul’s teaching in Galatians 5 about the fruit that the Holy Spirit wants to develop in us.

Prayer is a central part of ChristChurch London. We believe that it's a great privilege to be able to communicate with God, and so once a term we gather together to spend an evening praying; thanking Him for all that He's done, and looking forward to all that He will continue to do in our church, our city and our nation.

These evenings are always packed, so get there early!

Coffee & Cakes are mornings for mums, toddlers, babies and dads (if around). This is an informal chance to get together and socialise, to support families in ChristChurch London, to allow deeper friendships and to develop and support one another on both practical and spiritual levels.

This week the families from around London will join together for a fun morning at the Coram Fields near Russell Square.

Jesus said he only did what he saw the Father doing. Don’t you wish you could say the same about yourself? This week Tim Frisby looks at how to be led by God, hearing His direction, seeing what He is doing and being obedient to follow him. 

Almost without a doubt the Bible is the most popular, bestselling book in the world, yet surely it is out-dated and contradictory... Isn't it? This week will focus on what the Bible is, why we should read it and how to do so. Discussion will follow the talk.

Jesus didn’t simply care about people’s spiritual wellbeing; he treated people as whole beings and provided for their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. Everywhere he went he restored sick people, and told his disciples to do the same. In this talk, Liam will look at the subject of healing, and consider how we can have faith to pray for God to heal sicknesses.

Join us for a Families Lunch in the Lower River Room at the Mermaid Theatre. This is a great opportunity for kids to get together, whilst parents relax over a picnic. Bring your children and your lunch; drink, cake and a view over the Thames will be provided.

This week we will be looking at what Christians believe about the devil.  Is there a real force of evil in the world today and if so how should Christians respond to this?

In recent months we have been very blessed with the gift of new life, and our dedication service is a great opportunity for new parents to commit their children to God. Come and join us as we celebrate, pray, and give thanks together for these new lives.

Followed by refreshments for family and friends in the Lower River Room after the service, 13:00-15:00.

For many, the book of Revelation is one of the most puzzling sections of the Bible. Confusing symbols, mysterious imagery, and sometimes unpleasant descriptions make it daunting to read and difficult to understand. How much is it a prediction of the future? How is it relevant today? And how should we go about interpreting it? In this session we will look at some principles to help us understand this book, and the picture it paints of Jesus.

John’s first glimpse into heaven is a dazzling picture: strange creatures, precious jewels, and a dramatic scene with thousands of worshippers. This week we will look at the Lamb on the Throne in Revelation 4 and 5, learning to interpret the symbols and considering how this picture helps us to understand the major theme of Revelation.
