Beta is a fantastic opportunity to continue exploring Christianity. It follows on from our Alpha Course, and even takes place in the same venue.

Where and when does Beta happen?

Beta starts at 19:00 every Wednesday, from October, at The Mermaid, Puddle Dock, Blackfriars, London, EC4V 3DB, a short walk from Mansion House or St Paul's station.
Please note that Blackfriars station is currently closed.

What can I expect?

Beta follows the same format as Alpha with a meal and a talk, after which there is an opportunity for discussion and to ask questions.

The course runs for 9 consecutive weeks during which the following topics are covered:

  • What is God Like?
  • How and Why Do We Read the Bible?
  • Why Put God First?
  • How and Why Do We Pray?
  • What is Worship All About?
  • How Can We Resist Evil?
  • What is Baptism?
  • Miracles: Does God Heal Today?
  • Why Do Christians Tell Others?
